We woke up in igloos, and had a nice breakfast and an even larger igloo with real fires. After all the rain of yesterday, we woke up to clear blue skies an amazing mountain view.
Today is a straight run up the motorway to Los Angeles. The road around the lake was spectacular and filled with amazing Lakeside homes. But Tim and I thought this had very good purchasing potential. Rewrite out onto the motorway and headed to North and just kept going. Tiring volcanoes could be seen away on our right side as we headed up the Andy‘s chain.
There was a little excitement on today’s ride. We are now back in civilisation and dealing with the traffic, it seems a long way away from where we were just a few days ago. . We wrote into the town of Los Angeles which has a population of 200,000 and found a small hotel. We parked our bikes and walked into the wonderful square filled with flowering roses. We found something to eat and had a beer and then decided we would get our haircuts.. We think the translation went wrong somewhere along the line because we came out with no hair at all. Neither of us are blessed with great hair.
