Tim was up early as always, and as we were sharing a two bedroom mezzanine apartment that for me I was up as well. I went outside as Tim likes to do Bike maintenance prior to the Sunrising so that he has lots to talk about over breakfast. The subjects are often tyres, chain cleaner and chain lube. Or where to buy water for the day. These are the three main priorities on this trip. The scenery take second place the location stake third place at any other sort of conversation comes forth. Anyway, the subject to breakfast for Tim at 1.5inch screw in his rear tire and therefore it was flat. This meant to delay departure while the wheel was removed. The innertube taken out and replaced with the help of the hotel owner and an axe. I took this opportunity to update a few days of the blog and pack up my bike and be ready before Tim for a change..

We set off out of Cochrane, and stopped to view fantastic river gorgeous and huge waterfalls and continue along the Ripeo. Today we are heading to a stop called Rio Tranquilo. This is a small town where the tourist business is taking people to see the marble caves on lake Buenos Aires.. This is not the name of the lake in Chile, but I’m hoping to update this later. We rode some incredible roads with fantastic scenery and arrived in the early afternoon.

Our hotel was something different built completely of corrugated iron with wooden walkways.. One which turned out to be incredibly beautiful rooms. We checked in went for a walk around the town made friends with the local dogs and found a microbrewery which served us some cloudy ale which was guaranteed to give his headaches.

We then walked up the street to find an open air pizza restaurant and had the most incredible pizzas sitting outside in the evening air.. Another day which is hard to describe because every day we seem to travel through amazing scenery that is out of this world.
